The third generation Smart Fortwo Coupé (body code 453, including Smart EQ electric versions, 11.2014–2021) uses a modern Bayonet / Straight rail attachment at the front, and a special molded plastic attachment specific to the Smart/Renault network at the rear. The Coupé has a glass upper tailgate and is standard equipped with a 230 mm rear wiper. Common platform with Renault Twingo III.
