The third generation Smart Fortwo Coupé (body code 453, including electric Smart EQ versions, 11.2014–2021) uses the modern Bayonet / Straight Rail attachment type for the front wipers. Unlike the Cabrio version, the Coupé has a glass tailgate and is equipped standard with a 230 mm rear wiper (special molded plastic attachment, specific to the Smart/Renault network). Common platform with Renault Twingo III.
