How to Install TeamCar® Wiper Blades – Step-by-Step Guide
1. Hook Attachment
Removing the old blade
- Lift the wiper arm to a vertical position.
- Look for a small safety tab or button on the wiper adapter.
- Press the tab and slide the blade down, towards the base of the arm, to remove it from the hook.
Preparing for installation
- Make sure the windshield is clean.
- Warning: Do not let the metal arm fall freely onto the windshield, as the shock can crack the glass.
Installing the new blade
- If the new wiper has a protective cap on the attachment side, lift or remove it.
- Insert the hook's curve through the opening of the wiper adapter.
- Pull the blade up, towards the tip of the hook, until you hear a clear "click," indicating it's properly secured.
- Close the safety tab and remove the plastic protection from the rubber blade before use.
2. Push Button Attachment
This type of attachment system is common for vehicles such as new Audi, BMW, Lexus, or Volkswagen models.
