TeamCar® and Matte anti-skid covers — also known as textile chains or snow socks — are made from high-tech multifilament synthetic fibers with a high friction coefficient on icy surfaces. They represent a modern, silent, and lightweight alternative to traditional metal chains, compatible even with sports cars or vehicles with low ground clearance.

What is the difference between textile covers and metal chains?

Unlike metal chains, anti-skid covers do not damage rims, tires, or the car's electronic systems (ABS, ESP). They are extremely quiet, do not produce vibrations in the steering wheel, and can be installed in minutes without tools. Metal chains offer more aggressive grip on deep snow, but textile covers are superior on black ice and thin ice.

How are anti-skid covers installed?

Installation is simple and requires no tools: park the car on a flat surface with the handbrake engaged, apply the cover to the upper part of the drive wheel by pulling it inwards, move the vehicle half a meter forward or backward, and complete the installation over the rest of the tire.
