Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find the right wiper for my Seat?

When you're driving a Seat, whether it's the sporty Leon, the versatile Ateca, or the compact Ibiza, your visibility through the windshield must be impeccable. TeamCar® car wipers are designed to meet Volkswagen Group standards – precision, quiet operation, and guaranteed compatibility with every Seat generation. Use the filter in this collection to select your model – you'll instantly see only the wipers compatible with your Seat.

What are the advantages of flat and hybrid wipers over classic ones?

Seat is a brand focused on dynamic driving – aerodynamic windshields require blades with uniform pressure at high speeds. TeamCar® blades are specially designed for this geometry:

  • Flat blades: Aerodynamic, quiet, and resistant to snow and ice – they conform perfectly to the curvature of Seat windshields.
  • Hybrid blades: Combine the robustness of classic blades with the aerodynamics of flat blades, excellent performance in all weather conditions.
  • Classic blades: Affordable and suitable for standard urban use.

How do you choose the correct size for your Seat?

Seat primarily uses the Slim Push Button (16mm) attachment – the small square button – on all modern models:

  • Slim Push Button (16mm): Standard on Leon 5F/KL, Ateca, Arona, Ibiza 6F.
  • Push Button (19mm): Older models – Leon 1P, Exeo.
  • Leon (5F / KL, 2012+): Driver 650 mm – Passenger 400 mm – Slim Push Button
  • Ateca: Driver 650 mm – Passenger 450 mm – Slim Push Button
  • Ibiza (6J / 6F): Driver 600-650 mm – Passenger 400 mm – Slim Push Button
  • Arona: Driver 650 mm – Passenger 450-480 mm – Slim Push Button
  • Tarraco: Driver 650 mm – Passenger 500 mm – Slim Push Button

Note for Leon 1P (2005-2012): The wipers rest vertically in the side pillars of the windshield – they require specific blades and extra care during installation. Do not manually pull them from the pillars without putting the car in service mode.

Note for rear wiper (Ibiza, Leon): 250-300mm plastic blade – Seat has changed the design of the rear arm several times between generations, check the correct attachment.

How do I know the size of my wiper?

Each product specifies the exact dimensions in millimeters and inches, according to the manufacturer's OE guide. You choose your Seat model and receive wipers with the correct dimensions and guaranteed attachment.

How do I activate service position on my Seat?

On Seat Leon, Ateca, or Tarraco, you cannot lift the arms without this procedure:

  • Turn the ignition on and then off.
  • Within 10 seconds, press the wiper stalk down and hold it for 2 seconds.
  • The wipers will stop vertically on the windshield.
  • To return: Turn the ignition on and briefly operate the stalk.

How are the wipers installed?

Simple installation without tools. Follow our installation guide for detailed step-by-step instructions.

When should wiper blades be replaced?

Specialists recommend replacement every 6-12 months or when you notice water streaks, squeaking, or uneven wiping. Don't wait for the rainy season – reduced visibility increases the risk of accidents.
