The third-generation Smart Fortwo Coupé (body code 453, including Smart EQ electric versions, 11.2014–2021) uses the modern Bayonet / Straight Rail attachment type on the front. Unlike the Cabrio variant, the Coupé has a glass top tailgate and is equipped standard with a 230 mm rear wiper (special molded plastic attachment, specific to the Smart/Renault network). Common platform with Renault Twingo III.
