The second-generation Smart Fortwo Cabrio (body code 451, 04.2007–2015, including 2010 and 2012 facelifts) uses a modern attachment system of type Pinch Tab / Side Button Clip. The model DOES NOT have a rear wiper — the textile roof folds directly over the edge of the trunk, making it impossible to mount a wiper motor on the rear window.
