The Smart Roadster-Coupé (body code 452 / C452, 04.2003–11.2005) is distinguished by its extended glass dome/canopy located above the trunk, with a plunging aerodynamic rear line. It uses the classic Hook / Standard Hook (9×3 mm) attachment type on the front, with conventional articulated metal-frame blades — the driver's blade includes an integrated aerodynamic spoiler. The plunging rear line never included a rear wiper from the factory.
