The third-generation Smart Fortwo Cabrio (body code 453, including the electric Smart EQ versions, 09.2015–2021) uses the modern Bayonet / Straight Rail attachment type — the blades slide directly onto the straight metal arm and lock at the end, without additional pins or buttons. The model does NOT have a rear wiper — the glass rear window folds completely with the textile roof. Shares a common platform with Renault Twingo III.
