Service Position - How to lift the arms to change the blades

The Mazda 2 Hybrid (XP210) uses Toyota's system logic for the service position:

1. Turn off the engine completely (Ignition OFF).
2. Within 30 seconds, push the wiper lever up to the MIST position and hold it for approximately 2-3 seconds.
3. The wipers will automatically slide vertically and stop on the windshield.
4. Now you can remove and lift the metal arms off the glass to change the blades.

To return: Turn on the ignition (Ignition ON) and briefly operate the wiper lever once for them to return to the base of the windshield.
