The Smart Forfour 453 with electric retractable textile roof (tridop / canvas roof, 09.2015–2021) uses the modern Bayonet / Straight rail attachment — the blades slide directly onto the straight metal arm and lock at the end, without additional pins or buttons. Attention: this variant DOES NOT have a rear wiper — the mechanism was removed by the manufacturer to allow the canvas to fold over the tailgate. The set contains only the blades for the windshield.
