Technical note

Touareg 7LA exclusively uses Side Pin attachment — it is not compatible with standard Hook adapters. Before ordering, check that the windscreen arm has the side pin visible. The reference OEM code for the original set: 7L0 998 002 or 3C1 998 002.

Maintenance tip

Do not use wipers on a dry or frozen windscreen, as impurities and ice can immediately destroy the fine edge of the blade. Choosing the right wipers before the rainy season begins is essential for visibility and safety.

How often should I replace my wipers?

Most manufacturers recommend replacing them every 6–12 months or approximately every 12,000 kilometers.
