From 2001–2002, the model came from the factory with a Hook type arm — later, starting from 2002–2003, VW switched to Side Pin attachment. This set is exclusively for versions with a Hook (Retrofit) type arm. The reference OEM code for the original Flat set: 6Q1 998 002.

How often should I replace my wipers?

Most manufacturers recommend replacing them every 6–12 months or approximately every 12,000 kilometers.
