Technical Note — Slider Fit System (Bayonet)

The CL203 facelift uses a proprietary Mercedes-Benz mounting system, different from standard Hook, Side Pin, or Push Button. The flat metal arm slides directly into the blade body. How to properly remove:

1. Lift the metal arm off the windshield.
2. At the joint, you will see a square plastic cap or a clip.
3. Rotate the blade 45–90° relative to the arm or slide the plastic cap upwards.
4. Pull the blade firmly downwards, along the metal arm — it will slide off the rail.

Maintenance tip

Do not use wipers on a dry or frozen windshield, as impurities and ice can immediately destroy the fine edge of the blade. Choosing the right wiper blades before the rainy season begins is essential for visibility and safety.

How often should I replace wiper blades?

Most manufacturers recommend replacing them every 6–12 months or approximately every 12,000 kilometers.
