Installation instructions / Service position:

To lift the wiper arms off the windshield without scratching the hood, you need to activate the service position (also known as maintenance position).

Here is the exact procedure for Dacia Jogger:

Activation procedure (Step by step)

Turn on the ignition (press the Start/Stop button without pressing the brake/clutch pedal) or start the engine for a few seconds.
Turn off the ignition (press the Start/Stop button again). The engine and dashboard must be completely off.
Push the wiper stalk all the way down (to the last position, beyond the fast wipe position).
The wipers will automatically lift and stop in a vertical position on the windshield.

At this point, you can safely move the arms away from the glass to change the blades or to clean the windshield in winter.

Return to normal position

After you have finished replacing the blades and put the arms back on the windshield:

Turn the ignition on again (press the Start/Stop button).
Lift the wiper stalk to its initial position (neutral / off).
The blades will return to the base of the windshield on their own.

⚠️ Warning: Never start the car or move the stalk while the wiper arms are lifted in the air, as they will violently hit the hood and can damage the paintwork or crack the windshield.
