Step-by-step installation guide – E46 specific:

1. Preparation: Lift the metal wiper arm. Place a towel on the windshield under the arm — if the arm slips without the blade, it can break the windshield!

2. Removal: On the back of the old wiper, press the small plastic safety clip and push the blade down to release it from the hook.

3. Arm preparation: If you have the old plastic guide on the driver's arm, remove it by clipping.

4. Flat blade installation: Open the adapter cover on the new blade. Insert the car's metal hook through the wiper's connector. Pull firmly upwards until you hear a clear locking click. Close the adapter cover.

5. Completion: Remove the protective films from the rubber edge and gently lower the arm onto the windshield.

Maintenance tip:

Do not use wipers on dry or frozen windshields, as impurities and ice can immediately destroy the fine edge of the blade.

How often should I replace my wipers?

Most manufacturers recommend replacement every 6-12 months or approximately every 12,000 kilometers.
