The floor liners for the E93 Convertible take into account the specific configuration of the PL5 platform in the convertible version with a retractable 3-piece steel hardtop. The much wider interior sills compared to the E90 Sedan reduce usable legroom outwards, and the 3 cm perimeter retention system is critical to stop water that may penetrate the pedal area through the hardtop seals. The rear seats are separated by the center console, with less legroom compared to the E92 Coupé due to the roof lifting mechanism in the side panels.
