The rubber floor mats for the BMW 3 Series E36 are designed for the rear-wheel-drive E36 platform, adapted to the prominent central tunnel specific to this generation. The driver's mat includes a U-shaped cutout at the base of the floor-mounted articulated accelerator pedal (organ-type) and a left side extension that covers the dead pedal area, preventing water from seeping under the original carpet. The rear set also covers the central tunnel with a dedicated third piece.
